Bro. Chris has been in ministry since 1991. He served as Interim Pastor at Siloam beginning in October 2019 and was called as Pastor in January 2020. 

 

He is a native of Trenton, Ky. He studied at Austin Peay State University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, from which he earned a Master in Arts degree in Christian Education. 

 

He and his wife, Michele, have been married since 1989. They are the proud parents of four children: Madison, Kendall, Camden and Brennen.

Gospel music and songs have something for everyone. They can be a warning and instruction for the lost, and an encouragement and assurance for the saved. My prayer for all our song services will be that we will sing songs that will minister to all in our worship services as we seek to lead songs that will complement the Gospel messages that are preached.

My wife Wanda and I are blessed with two children - Scott Martin and Jennie Turner. We also have been blessed with three grandchildren - Matt Turner, Bryce Martin, and Brynn Martin.

Wanda was saved here at Siloam in 1954 and became a member. I was saved in 1968 and joined here at Siloam. Wanda had been a member here 64 years when she passed away in 2018 with cancer. I have been a member here 51 years. We have been blessed tremendously with the preaching, teaching, and fellowship.
